I have always loved art and have been painting and drawing since I was little. Ever since 7th grade, I have been constantly involved in art classes and extracurricular art projects, such as art club, painting sets for drama, and school murals. I also am passionate about kids. For the past three years I have been working in a classroom of preschoolers and I recently started working in a 5th grade classroom.

Inspired by my love for children and their fantastical view of the world, I created several collections of artwork. In my latest one, Herbert II: the Story of an Octopus, I used vivid acrylic paints to bring to life Herbert's fun personality and his wondrous underwater surrounding. I become most invested in my artwork when building the lives of my characters and being able to dive in to their adventures. That's why I believe art is so much better with a story!
